Forecast Mentorships 2026–2027

Forecast has launched the open call for the 11th edition of Forecast Mentorships, an international programme supporting artistic practitioners and cultural producers from all creative fields worldwide. The mentorships are designed for projects that would benefit from close exchange with an experienced mentor and their specific approach to material, research, and knowledge production.
Forecast Mentorships are open to individuals, organisations, and collectives, and encourage cross-disciplinarypractices. Selected projects enter an intensive mentoring process combining online collaboration with in-person residencies in Germany.

The mentors for this edition are:

Selection Process
The process takes place in two stages:

Nomination phase: Each mentor selects three project ideas (18 nominees in total).

Forecast Forum: All nominees are invited to Berlin to present and discuss their projects during the Forecast Forum at Radialsystem in July 2026.
Following the Forum, each mentor selects one project to accompany through its realisation.
Mentorship & Residency Phase

Period: August 2026 – March 2027

Mentor and mentee(s) take part in a short residency involving several days of in-person mentoring and creative exchange at a hosting institution in Germany.

The process concludes with a public premiere of the realised project.
