Museologist- Museum of Image and Sound

Education: Diploma, duly registered, of completion of a higher education course in Museology, provided by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education.

Qualification: Professional Registration by the Regional Council of Museology of the 4th Region (COREM 4R) and proof of payment of the annuity for the current year.

Functions:

• Elaborate and update museological plans, programs and projects such as Statutes, Bylaws, Collections Policies, Collections Management and Conservation Plans, Museological Plans, among other operational instruments of the Museums;

• Assist the MIS and Paço das Artes nuclei with research and information related to the institutions’ collections;

• Assist in the preparation of temporary and long-term exhibitions of the collections;

• Assist in the creation of the Audiovisual Research and Reference Center;

• Elaborate research projects, scientific articles, public calls (public notices), seminars, conferences and other types of scientific and cultural events;

• Prepare reports, technical reports and data records in their area of expertise, working to meet the goals of the Collection Program, defined by the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy of the Government of the State of São Paulo;

• Participate in meetings and technical committees of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy of the Government of the State of São Paulo regarding the Collection Program, or others of interest to MIS and Paço das Artes in the museological area;

• Other actions compatible with the requirements for exercising the function.

Desirable: Experience with audiovisual, photographic and contemporary art collections.

Modality: Effective CLT.

Salary: BRL 5,239.00
