Job Overview

The Museum and Institutional Partnerships Intern will assist David Zwirner’s M&IP team with research, data entry, and various projects.

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates must be diligent, organized, and have strong time management skills. Prior experience in data entry and research is preferred. Knowledge of contemporary art and the domestic institutional landscape is advantageous. Attention to detail and discretion with client information are crucial.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct research through print and digital publications.
  • Enter detailed information into the database.
  • Gather information on third-party exhibitions related to the gallery’s program.
  • Produce and maintain artist portfolios to uphold the gallery’s high standards.
  • Update reference documents with accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate with marketing, research, and artist management teams as needed.

Internship Details

  • Duration: September 3rd – December 13th.
  • Hours: 10 AM – 6 PM.
  • Compensation: NYC minimum wage of $16/hour.
  • Residency: Candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT.
