Frederiksborg is seeking a highly qualified Museum Curator specialising in 16th–17th-century art. Set within one of Denmark’s most impressive castles, the museum houses a major collection spanning from the 15th century to the present day and forms part of the Carlsberg Foundation family.
The successful candidate will join the Collections and Exhibitions team and contribute to the research, development, and production of exhibitions, with a particular focus on early modern art.
Key Responsibilities & Profile
Applicants should demonstrate:

Relevant academic background, preferably a PhD in Art History

Specialised knowledge of 16th–17th-century art

Experience curating and producing exhibitions, including collaboration with architects and graphic designers

Some knowledge of Denmark and Danish history
