About the Museum
The National Museum of Archaeology, History, and Art collects, preserves, and exhibits national heritage. It focuses on archaeology, numismatics, history, and art. The museum also engages in scientific research and public education.
Role and Responsibilities
- Direct the museum and coordinate its collection, conservation, digitization, and exhibition efforts.
- Set the organizational structure and goals.
- Develop strategies aligned with national cultural policies and European museum trends.
- Manage human and financial resources strategically.
- Coordinate services to achieve goals and work programs.
- Represent the museum nationally and internationally.
- Implement communication policies.
- Engage with Luxembourg’s collections and artists.
- Lead and support external educational and scientific collaborations.
- Initiate and participate in research and heritage projects.
