Zayed National Museum seeks a Museum Education Lead to develop and deliver educational programs and learning resources for schools, universities, families, and lifelong learners. The role focuses on linking experiences to curricula and enhancing public engagement through interpretive content and innovative educational tools.

Responsibilities

Develop medium- and long-term departmental goals aligned with the museum’s vision and strategy.
Manage and deliver interpretive content for K-12 schools, universities, and families.
Lead a team of staff developing educational content.
Standardize content delivery across all contributors, ensuring quality and consistency.
Prepare reports analyzing visitor trends and learning project progress.
Manage budgets, invoices, and resource allocation for educational initiatives.
Create welcoming learning environments onsite and online, producing resources for educators.
Monitor visitor feedback to inform new programs and experiences.
Ensure operational excellence, achieve KPIs, and drive internal process improvements.
Represent the museum and uphold its values in all public-facing projects.
Foster employee engagement and professional growth through knowledge sharing and training.

Candidate Profile

Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience developing content for school audiences in museums or cultural institutions.
Experience in budget and project management.
Knowledge of current practices in audience development and museum education.
Fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Museum Education, Art Education, Art History, History, Museology, or related field required.
Master’s degree in Museum Education, Art Education, Art History, History, Museology, or related field preferred.
