The Studio Museum in Harlem | The Museum of Modern Art is offering a two-year Museum Fellowship Collaboration program for individuals interested in curatorial work. Fellows will rotate between the two museums, gaining practical experience and participating in enrichment programming.
Responsibilities
Fellows will work independently and collaboratively under curatorial staff guidance. Responsibilities include collection management, exhibition research, public programs participation, and departmental assistance.
Requirements
Candidates should have a B.A. or graduate-level degree in art history or related fields. Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and a demonstrated interest in cultural programming and research are essential.
Salary and Benefits
The fellowship offers a salary of $43,680 per annum with additional benefits, including medical coverage, paid vacation time, and a $5,000 housing allowance. Fellows will also receive a $2,500 travel allowance for a research trip.
On-site Work
This role requires on-site work five days a week in New York City.
