Proposition Studios – New Team Roles for Multipurpose Cultural Hub, London, UK
Proposition Studios is seeking new team members for their upcoming multipurpose cultural hub in Bethnal Green. The available positions will support the smooth operation of venues and gallery spaces hosting live performances, exhibitions, events, corporate functions, dinners, film and photography shoots, among other activities.
Available Roles:
Events Manager
- Closing Date: Sun, 02 Mar 2025
- Contract: Full time, on-site presence required
- Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
- Purpose:
- Manage all bookings across Proposition’s venues and gallery spaces (in-house and external).
- Deliver outstanding customer service to maximize revenue and encourage repeat bookings.
- Capture client and audience insights through surveys and feedback forms.
- Act as a host and brand representative for the venue.
- Direct Reports: Freelance events staff, including security and other contractors
Duty Manager
- Closing Date: Sun, 02 Mar 2025
- Contract: Freelance, on-site presence required
- Salary: £16 per hour
- Purpose:
- Professionally and safely manage events in Proposition’s galleries and venues.Provide excellent customer service to clients, stakeholders, and visitors.
- Represent Proposition’s brand and help understand audience needs.
- Requirements:
- Demonstrable duty management experience in a customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and handle incidents effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, IT, and communication skills.
Events Staff (Bar Staff, Front of House, Artistic Invigilators)
- Closing Date: Mon, 03 Mar 2025
- Contract: Part time/temporary, on-site presence required
- Salary: £10k-£15k (pro-rata)
- Job Summary:
- Support the safe and professional delivery of events.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Proposition’s brand.
- Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role (Bar Staff, FOH, or invigilating).
- Ability to work collaboratively and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to promoting equality and diversity.
