The Cross-Sectoral Pioneers Program is an initiative by Creative FLIP aimed at supporting innovative collaboration projects through cross-disciplinary partnerships. The program seeks 10 pairs from the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCSI) and beyond to collaborate on projects that explore new possibilities and foster sustainable innovation.
What is the Program About?
The program encourages cooperation between professionals from different sectors, either within or beyond the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCSI). Participants will work together over five days on experimental or collaborative projects, with a focus on creativity and the intersection of art and technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI).
The goal is to produce tangible outcomes, such as working prototypes, creative productions, or project proposals, which can be further developed and presented to potential investors or for validation.
Key Objectives:
- Foster Cross-Sectoral Collaboration: Encourage professionals from the cultural and creative sectors and other industries to develop innovative partnerships.
- Create Tangible Outputs: Support the creation of prototypes, demonstrations, or project proposals.
- Enhance Peer Learning: Facilitate a structured 5-day hackathon-style exchange program for knowledge-sharing.
- Promote Innovation: Focus on projects that explore the intersection of creativity and AI, encouraging the use of new technologies in creative practices.
Eligibility:
- Eligible Participants:
- One member must be from a Cultural and Creative Sector (CCSI).
- The other must come from another sector (either within or beyond CCSI) and from a different eligible country.
- The two participants must be from different eligible countries.
- Eligible Countries: Albania, Austria, Armenia, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia and Ukraine.
Program Support:
- Funding:
- €2,300 (divided equally: €1,150 each for the host and visitor).
- Travel and accommodation for the visitor, up to €1,175.
- Outcomes:
- A tangible deliverable (prototype, demo, or creative production).
- Project visibility and promotion within the CCSI ecosystem.
- Inclusion on the Creatives Unite platform.
