Funded Exhibition Opportunity at d/p in Seoul, South Korea

Application deadline: 30 September 2026, 24:00 KST
Location: d/p, Nakwon Arcade, Seoul, South Korea
Exhibition period: Approximately five weeks between March and December 2027
Curatorial grant: KRW 4,000,000, including tax
Number selected: Approximately two individual curators or curatorial teams
Exhibition space: Approximately 187 m²

d/p is inviting independent curators and curatorial teams to propose an exhibition project for its 2027 programme in Seoul.

Sponsored by NakwonSangga, the opportunity provides selected applicants with a curatorial grant, access to d/p’s exhibition space and curatorial collaboration with the d/p team. The programme has supported two to three curators annually since 2018.

Eligibility

The open call is available to individual curators and curatorial teams with at least one curatorial experience completed within the past three years.

Applying curators cannot participate in the proposed exhibition as artists. The roles of curator and participating artist must be clearly distinguished.

The curatorial statement should not exceed 3,000 words. Additional pages and images may be included. Video materials should be submitted as links.

Selection Process

Applications will be assessed in two stages:

  1. Review of the application form and exhibition proposal
  2. Individual interviews with shortlisted applicants

Interviews will generally take place in person. Applicants based abroad or facing exceptional circumstances may be interviewed online.
