Open Call for 2025–2026 Residency Program at La Nueva Fábrica

La Nueva Fábrica (LNF) is excited to announce that we are now receiving applications for our 2025–2026 Residency Program. We invite artists, curators, and cultural practitioners from Guatemala and around the world to apply for one of five residencies, which will take place over four to eight weeks at our space in Antigua, Guatemala.

Residents will receive a $2,000 stipend, private housing, a studio, curatorial and technical support, and mentoring. LNF provides a creative platform to develop projects and immerse in the local art community. Residencies will take place between September 2025 and June 2026. 

The deadline to apply is November 24, 2024. Only the first 150 applications will be considered.

Residents will be selected by an independent jury comprised of Beatriz Lemos, Daniela Lieja Quintanar, and Atabey fka Carlos Maria Romero. 

We encourage applicants 18 and older from all nationalities to apply. While basic Spanish skills are helpful, they are not required. 

Finalists will be interviewed via Zoom on December 19, 2024, and selected residents will be announced on January 15, 2025.
