Open Call for Curatorial Team – Currents 12

- Eligibility: Curators residing in Belgium, the Netherlands, or Germany
- Honorarium: Provided, along with reimbursement for travel expenses
Jester, in collaboration with Marres (Maastricht, NL), Ludwig Forum Aachen (DE), and KANAL-Centre Pompidou (Brussels, BE), is seeking a curatorial team (comprising two to three individuals) for Currents 12, an annual group exhibition showcasing works by recently graduated artists from art academies in Belgium, the German Meuse-Rhine region, and the southern Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with emerging artists
- Demonstrate strong writing skills
- Engage in production work with effective planning
- Attend graduation exhibitions in the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion and throughout Belgium during June and July 2025

Selection Timeline:
- Interviews: Between March 26 and April 2, 2025
- Announcement of Results: Mid-April 2025

This initiative aims to foster an international infrastructure for talent development, offering a platform for emerging artists and curators. The exhibition is part of a broader training and networking program, including production residencies for selected artists at Jester’s facilities.
