OPEN CALL for CPR 2022: BACK TO THE NORTH!

The Curatorial Program for Research (CPR) is pleased to announce its open call for curators to participate in CPR 2022: Back to the North! In this program curators will travel to the Nordic region, visiting Copenhagen, Denmark, Helsinki, Finland, and Stockholm and Skåne in Sweden. CPR:s seventh fully funded research program will take place from May 23 – June 10, 2022.

Hosted by local institutions and independent curators, the program gathers a cohort of up to six international curators. The robust programming offers daily visits to artist studios and local arts institutions, and it is complemented by lectures and readings about local socio-political history, arts, and culture.

Both independent curators and those with institutional affiliations may apply; only applicants with 2+ years of professional experience within the field of contemporary art will be considered. Curators based anywhere in the world may apply.

Participants will be selected by a jury that will include: Carmen Ferreyra, CPR Director and Founder; Susanne Ewerlöf, CPR Director, Europe; Sara Rossling, Project Manager, Malmö and Copenhagen, and guest juror Alessandro Facente (CPR 2018 Resident, Independent Critic/Curator; Curator at Artists Alliance Inc, New York.)
