Liverpool Biennial and the British Council invite mid-career curators from Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia to apply for a fully-funded professional development opportunity in Liverpool, UK. This week-long research and networking program will take place during the 13th edition of Liverpool Biennial and is designed to foster international collaboration and knowledge exchange between curators, UK-based practitioners, and institutions.
About the Curator’s Week Programme
The program offers a unique opportunity to:
- Participate in curated talks, workshops, performances, and studio visits.
- Engage in networking opportunities with artists and curators from the UK and beyond.
- Explore Liverpool’s cultural and artistic landscape, inspired by the 2025 Biennial theme, “BEDROCK”.
- Take part in a day trip to Bradford, UK City of Culture 2025.
- Contribute to Liverpool Biennial’s digital journal, Stages.
