Open Call: Talk/Event Organizer

Simian has announced an Open Call for a Talk/Event Organizer to collaboratively develop the program Thinking Out Loud. This position involves curating, planning, and executing an independent talk/event series that addresses current discourses across 4-6 events, set to launch in 2025.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Curating, planning, and managing the events from start to finish, including budgeting and execution.
• Engaging with relevant discourses and presenting them in a compelling format.
• Moderating artist talks, panel discussions, or similar formats (experience in this area is advantageous).

The role will be coordinated on a freelance basis, with payment agreed upon accordingly. Curatorial research and program planning will begin in 2024.
