The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami), is dedicated to promoting the work of contemporary artists, and to the exchange of art and ideas throughout the Miami region and internationally. Through an energetic calendar of exhibitions and programs, and its collections, ICA Miami provides an international platform for the work of established and emerging artists, and advances the public appreciation and understanding of the most innovative and experimental art of our time.
ICA Miami internships offer participants an opportunity to learn more about contemporary art and the scope of museum work during an exciting and critical moment of growth for the institution. This internship is only open to graduate or post-graduate candidates. Qualified candidates will participate in a 12-week program for a maximum of 15 hours per week. Interns will receive a stipend of $500.00 for the internship. The internship includes a parking pass during the tenure of the program. ICA Miami internships may count towards academic credit, however, selected interns should review this process with their school and provide ICA Miami with the documentation needed for credit. International and out-of-state candidates may apply, though, ICA Miami will not provide support for international visas, lodging or transportation.
