Fotografiska Stockholm Partnership Manager
Application deadline: Not specified
Fotografiska Stockholm is a museum with photography at its center and one of Sweden’s strongest cultural brands. Under one roof, art, culture, food, music, and conversation come together. Since its founding in 2010, Fotografiska has been a vibrant cultural meeting place where people, ideas, and new perspectives are given space.
We believe in the power of photography to create emotion, spark conversation, and inspire new ways of seeing the world and ourselves. Fotografiska is much more than a traditional museum. It is a place where culture and people meet, where experiences are shared, and where new collaborations, ideas, and relationships are allowed to grow.
In an era where people seek more meaningful and authentic experiences than ever before, we continue our journey with the ambition to strengthen Fotografiska’s relevance, impact, and position both locally and globally. We are in an exciting phase where we are building new energy, developing new relationships, and shaping new opportunities for the future.
At Fotografiska, you become part of an international context with operations in Stockholm, Berlin, Shanghai, and Tallinn, and a team driven by curiosity, creativity, business acumen, and the desire to create something that truly matters.
About the role
Fotografiska is seeking a Partnership Manager who wants to take our partnership business to the next level – by developing, driving, and creating growth within Fotografiska’s partnership business, from strategy and idea to sales, execution, and follow-up. The role combines business development, project management, and relationship building with a clear goal: to strengthen Fotografiska’s brand and create new revenue streams.
Our Partnership Manager is the driving force behind commercializing our strategic collaborations and creating long-term growth in a meeting place where photography, innovation, and culture intersect. The role means you are solely responsible for leading and executing the Partnership offering and are thus based at Fotografiska Stockholm. As you work independently, this involves close collaboration with both local and global teams, as well as active work with networking, relationships, and external representation. The compensation model for the role consists of a fixed salary and a variable salary component.
Main areas of responsibility
Strategy and Business Development
- Develop and drive Fotografiska’s partnership strategy by identifying and initiating new and existing commercial collaborations and revenue opportunities
- Drive business development that strengthens Fotografiska’s brand and relevance
- Conduct market analysis and trend forecasting within culture, media, and brands
Partnerships and Sales
- Drive outreach and strategic sales targeting brands, agencies, and decision-makers
- Own the entire business process: prospecting, negotiation, contracting, execution, and follow-up
- Develop and maintain long-term partnerships and value-creating collaborations, ensuring high quality throughout the delivery process, both internally and externally in our partner experiences
Collaboration and Execution
- Ensure execution by coordinating internal teams to deliver high-quality and efficient delivery across all partnership projects
- Collaborate with business areas within Fotografiska’s local teams such as Marketing, Programming, Exhibitions, Operations, and Food & Beverage, as well as Fotografiska’s global organization
- Represent Fotografiska in relevant contexts and networks
Finance and Follow-up
- Responsible for budget, sales targets, and profitability within the partnership area
- Monitor and analyze results of partnerships and initiatives
- Ensure business acumen aligns with Fotografiska’s strategic goals
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a business-driven relationship builder with documented experience in strategic sales, growth, and partnerships, preferably from the entertainment industry and the pop culture arena. Naturally, you are an experienced project manager who works proactively, both operationally and strategically. You are confident in driving the business independently while also being a creative and social team player. As the role involves many internal and external touchpoints, we see that you have a relevant B2B network from events, media, or marketing, with an understanding of consumer target groups (often our clients’ target groups are B2C). The role requires that you are not afraid to speak in front of an audience and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
We believe in the power of collaboration between culture and business, and we are looking for someone who sees the value in building long-term relationships, driving new ideas, and creating sustainable businesses with meaning.
Do you want to help shape the next chapter for Fotografiska and contribute to one of Stockholm’s most vibrant cultural institutions? Then we would love to hear from you!
