The Kunsthistorisches Institut seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Medieval Art History. The position involves preparing a habilitation thesis, teaching three courses per year, supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses, and contributing to the chair’s research and event organization.
Responsibilities
- Write a habilitation thesis in Medieval Art History.
- Teach three courses per year (2 SWS each).
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate theses.
- Assist with organizing events and research activities at the chair.
Qualifications
- Strong specialization in Medieval Art History.
- Excellent PhD and outstanding academic potential.
- Research interests in Ecocriticism/Environmental Humanities, mediality, materiality, or visuality are particularly welcome.
