This role involves supporting TEFAF’s marketing and communications strategies, managing press relations, and coordinating marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

Press and Communications Management

  • Work with international press agents.
  • Manage the campaign’s master timeline, including press releases and materials.
  • Coordinate between TEFAF teams, agencies, and agents.
  • Help produce press campaign assets and align with the internal vetting team.

Maastricht Press Trip Organization

  • Handle travel, hotel, dinner, and program arrangements.

On-Site Press Office Coordination

  • Facilitate press office operations at TEFAF Maastricht.
  • Serve as the exhibitor contact for the press department.
  • Oversee sales reporting coordination.

Art Editing and Management

  • Manage art objects and edit during peak seasons.
  • Track artwork metadata and image usage across various platforms.

Marketing Campaign Assistance

  • Support marketing campaign production, including exhibitor outreach and asset coordination.
  • Assist with media partnerships and advertising efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Art History, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Critical thinking with strategic insight for problem-solving.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team.
  • Experience with PR databases/tools is a plus.
  • Creativity and passion for the communications industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of the art market and media landscape.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Proactive and organized.

Working Conditions

  • Based in Amsterdam.
  • Remote and onsite work at TEFAF Amsterdam office.
  • Flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and onsite at fairs.
