Film and Video Umbrella, based in Nottingham (UK), is looking for a Production and Office Manager. This role involves coordinating and overseeing the organization’s diverse production activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director and the team, managing key freelance staff. The aim is to ensure the organization’s commissions meet the highest artistic standards on time and within budget. This includes offering creative production and post-production support and ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the smooth operation of the Nottingham office and support administrative duties.
- Coordinate production activities to meet artistic, deadline, and budgetary goals.
- Ensure adherence to legal and organizational protocols.
Contract Details:
- Initial 28-hour workweek for a trial period until September 2024, potentially moving to a 35-hour week.
- Full-time salary guaranteed regardless of trial outcome.
- Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm.
Salary:
- Starting from £30,000 to £35,000, based on experience.
Location:
- Main office in Nottingham with occasional travel to London, Newcastle, and other locations for production work and exhibitions.
