Translation from Korean:
Program Overview
The Gwangju Biennale Academy is recruiting participants for the 2024 Professional Curator Training Program. This program is designed to cultivate international contemporary art curators, theorists, and administrators. Established in 2009 as the International Curator Course (GBICC), it has included renowned instructors like Maria Lind, Joanna Warsza, Barbara Vanderlinden, Dan Cameron, and Ute Meta Bauer.
This year’s program features keynote lectures from past Biennale directors, including lead professor Nicolas Bourriaud (Artistic Director of the 15th Biennale). The program includes the Gwangju Biennale curatorial team, participating artists, and international art world figures.
