We’re looking for a Programme Co-ordinator to work with our Head Curator, one of our Senior National Curators and the Development Specialist for Curation and Experience to manage the design, delivery and evaluation of an ambitious development programme for National Trust Curators.
This role is offer on a full-time fixed term contract or internal secondment basis for 14 months.
Reporting to the Development Specialist – Curation and Experiences, you will work as part of a team to manage, design, deliver and evaluate an ambitious plan for curatorial development. You’ll be responsible for providing high quality professional programme support to the Development Specialist for Curation and Experiences, ensuring the smooth running of the programme, its support systems and processes.
The programme will be delivered across multiple channels and formats including expert training and on-line masterclasses, professional networking, residentials and a research fund. The Programme Co-ordinator will play a key role in ensuring all programme activities are integrated and communicated and that the agreed outcomes for each development activity are met.
It is a complex and ambitious programme with different strands and multiple stakeholders which will require excellent programme co-ordination skills along with the ability to work with and engage a dispersed team.

- Experience in providing programme support to enable programmes to meet objectives and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Organisational and planning skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Ability to communicate with clarity, employing a range of methods and approaches, including materials and presentations
- People skills and the ability to work well in a team, building relationships and sharing ideas.
- Confident liaising with a range of colleagues, providing a consistent point of contact internally and externally, to ensure a high level of customer service for the programme.
- Experience of collating, maintaining, analysing and preparing data to provide reports, including evaluation, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of record keeping. You’ll monitor invoices and purchasing procedures, reporting at regular intervals on progress against programme budget.
