Studio Voltaire is hiring for a Programme Coordinator (Studios and Residencies). This is an exciting position that supports Studio Voltaire’s onsite artist community, co-developing and delivering professional development programmes, organising the event and curatorial management of the annual Open House programme, and assisting with the delivery of onsite national and international residencies with leading artists.
This role is funded via Art Fund’s Reimagine Programme to provide a curatorial route for those currently underrepresented in the contemporary arts sector for a year-long placement. You will work directly with the Curator (Studios and Residencies) and alongside Studio Voltaire’s wider curatorial team, who will provide ongoing professional support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain significant experience in an artist-led programming role, working directly on facilitating opportunities for artists, including talks, workshops, open studios and residencies. You will develop skills in arts administration, curating and event production, gaining insights into the needs of working artists.
