Camden Art Centre seeks a Programme Curator to develop and deliver Open Up – a dynamic season of public facing live programme and events for Camden Art Centre’s physical and digital spaces. The programme is devised and delivered in collaboration with artists, responding to the need to support creative practitioners during the post-Covid climate – with a focus on platforming diverse and under-represented communities and voices. The Programme Curator will work with the Director and programme team, and our forthcoming exhibition artists Phoebe Collings-James, Adam Farah and Zeinab Saleh, to develop an exciting programme of live art and events that engage and pilot ways of working to support and attract a new and diverse community of artists, participants, and audiences.
The person we are looking for has experience of working directly with artists, producers, writers, curators, and audiences, and of delivering high quality and ambitious public programmes and events. This is a unique opportunity for an energised and committed individual to bring their own ideas and experience to forming a new funded programme and leave a legacy for future programming structures at the Centre.
