Salary: £48,835-£56,587 pro-rata
We are looking for an experienced leader in arts and culture to join the Oxford University Gardens Libraries and Museums (GLAM) to oversee the strategic development of its acclaimed Oxford Cultural Leaders (OCL) suite of programmes. You will have the opportunity to build on the success of the programme and to expand the OCL brand internationally, working with the OCL Steering Committee, with partners across the cultural and creative sectors, and with the GLAM Marketing and Communications team. You will lead on the identification of new partnerships and networks which will support and develop OCL.
As Programme Director, you will lead and deliver OCL Residential and OCL Online including taking responsibility for creating each programme and designing its sessions to ensure programmes evolve and reflect current challenges facing leaders within the sector. You will be the key facilitator during the programmes ensuring that OCL challenges and redefines each participant’s identity as a leader in the arts and cultural sector and helps shape their vision at a time of great challenge.
You will also continue to build the growing life-long community of OCL alumni through managing the OCL Alumni Membership Network and delivering an annual programme of inspirational and thought provoking lectures, immersive workshops and reflective seminars to bring the network together.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with colleagues at a senior level, including the successful design and delivery of leadership or other executive development programmes, experience of facilitating conferences or large groups and have coached or mentored staff.
