Programmes assistant

Deadline:  February 12, 2016
Location: Kings Cross, London
Contract length: Permanent, full time
Other details: Salary: c. £19,000 per annum

The Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art. Our mission is to increase the public’s access to and enjoyment of art – from ancient to contemporary, from watercolour to digital. Thanks to the success of our National Art Pass and our membership and supporters, we raise millions of pounds to support museums and galleries across the UK, helping them to purchase works of art, train curatorial staff, deliver touring exhibitions, education and interpretation projects, and to make the most of their collections for their audiences.

We are looking for a resourceful and motivated individual who is interested in the visual arts and museums, and who is looking to take their first career steps and gain experience in administration and the not-for-profit sector. You are an energetic team player with a relevant qualification in culture, heritage or administration and excellent attention to detail.

To apply, please submit a completed application form and an up to date CV by email to recruitment@artfund.org.

For more information, please download the job description.

We reserve the right to close the advert early depending on the volume of applications.

We care deeply about equal opportunities, and welcome a broad diversity of talent from all sections of the community to apply

The closing date for applications is 12 February at midday, and interviews will be held week commencing 22 February 2016.
