Project Coordinator – Venice Team, Arts
- Pay Band: 6
- Salary: Starting at £25,520 with an additional £3,300 for those in London.

Requirements
Candidates must have the pre-existing, legal right to work in the UK. This role is not based in Venice, and no mobility/relocation/visa support will be provided.
Please note that this is a maternity cover role for approximately 9-10 months, subject to the role holder’s return to work.
The Team
This role belongs to the Cultural Engagement (CE) Strategic Business Unit (SBU), combining arts, education, English, and research. Our UK arts team collaborates with global offices to connect and see each other through the arts, operating through four global programs:
- Culture Connects: Facilitating artistic and cultural exchange globally.
- Spotlights on Culture: Representing the UK’s cultural diversity and creativity at high-profile events.
- Creative Economy: Analyzing creative ecosystems and trends.
- Arts Responds to Global Challenges: Celebrating the transformative power of arts and culture.
The Role
As a Project Coordinator for the Venice Arts team, you’ll provide efficient project assistance and financial administrative support. Your responsibilities include:
Financial Administration:
- Administering financial processes and procurement.
- Ensuring value for money in bookings and arrangements.
Project/Administrative Support:
- Assisting with administrative tasks for Venice-related activities.
- Establishing efficient processes for information and knowledge capture.
- Building relationships with colleagues to support Venice-related work.
Role Requirements
- Finance and Resource Management: Utilizing financial systems effectively, including processing purchase orders and invoices.
- Office Administration: Experience in organizing travel, finance, events, and diary management.
- Planning and Organizing: Efficiently organizing work, considering priorities and impact on others.
