About ETC (European Theatre Convention)
Founded in 1988, ETC is Europe’s largest network for public theatres with over 60 members from 30 countries. We partner with the European Commission to provide international programs for European theatres, fostering artistic collaboration, professional training, and advocacy activities. Our mission is to promote European theatre as a platform for dialogue, democracy, and interaction with diverse audiences and changing societies. We aim to pioneer sustainable, diverse, and digital European theatre in a post-COVID world.

Job Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will:
- Manage current and new ETC activities, including project design, organization, implementation, and finances.
- Handle logistics for various events (EU project/partner meetings, Young Europe IV festival, ETC conferences, etc.).
- Produce publications and reports for events, including EU reporting.
- Coordinate project communication strategies with the ETC Communication team.
- Manage EU funding activities (from application to reporting), including grant applications and contracts related to ETC’s work plan.
Qualifications/Skills
You should possess:
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
- A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English and German (French is a plus).
- Digital literacy and strong IT skills (Office Pack, project management software, e.g., Basecamp).
Education and Experience Requirements
You should have:
- A university degree or equivalent in theatre studies, arts and cultural management, business, European studies, or equivalent skills.
- 3-5 years of experience in project and management in a European cultural environment (performing arts experience is a plus).
- Knowledge and experience with EU funding and grant management.
- An understanding of the European institutions.
- Experience in European affairs and/or with member associations.

- A monthly gross salary ranging from 3.200-3.500 EUR, depending on experience.
