Introduction
Ready Steady Go! is a 10-month learning journey for 14 artists and cultural professionals from the Mediterranean. The program includes immersive workshops, online sessions, and international gatherings to enhance the participants’ international exposure and career development.
Program Activities
Participants will engage in:
- Three online capacity development sessions
- A 4-day workshop in Italy
- A 4-day final meeting in Greece
The focus is on promoting inclusive mobility for artists and cultural professionals. They’ll develop projects involving international mobility, fostering debate and acquiring practical tools.

Applications are open until January 5, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals under 30 with good English proficiency
- Artists or cultural professionals, either independent, in the public sector, or with independent organizations
- Based in Mediterranean countries, including specific European and North African/Middle Eastern countries
- Must reside in “remote areas,” as defined in the program details
- Must present an artistic/cultural project with international mobility aspects
Project Types
Projects can include:
- Artistic/cultural project preparation or participation
- Research or residency participation
- Networking meetings
- Artistic and professional training or education
Selection Criteria
- Preference for independent artists/cultural professionals
- Clear presentation of the project, motivations, and expectations
- Contribution to local and Mediterranean cultural development
- Commitment to sharing knowledge and networking
- Participation in the capacity development program
- Gender equality and diversity with at least 50% female candidates
Program Benefits
- Covers all expenses related to participation
- Includes travel, visa, accommodation, and meals for onsite workshops in Italy and Greece
Participant Expectations
- Full participation in the program, including virtual sessions and onsite workshops
- Contribution to a publication on mobility in the Mediterranean
Selection Process
- Complete the application form and submit a project proposal and a CV
- An information session will be held on December 14, 2023
