The Museo Nacional del Prado invites applications for 12 fully funded research and training fellowships aimed at early-career professionals and recent graduates. These fellowships support technical training and specialization in key areas including conservation, restoration, museology, exhibition coordination, audiovisual production, publishing, digital development, and cultural management.
Fellows will be hosted by departments such as:

The program is part of the Prado’s commitment to fostering new talent in cultural heritage and museum practices, and contributes to the protection, study, and dissemination of Spain’s historical art collections.
Eligibility

Must hold a relevant university degree (specific requirements per fellowship area)

EU citizenship or residency in Spain

Must not have previously held a fellowship at the Prado

Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written)

Must not be engaged in other paid fellowships or contracts
