We are looking to recruit a postdoctoral Research Fellow to assist with the research and delivery of an exhibition project focusing on the intersections between feminist, LGBTQ+ and decolonial art practice and organising from the 1970s to the present, and which looks in particular at how art and activism have engaged with social issues such as housing, education and healthcare. The project is part of an Arts and Humanities Research Council Early Career Leadership fellowship.The successful applicant will have a PhD in a relevant topic, and a demonstrable research interest in one or more of the above areas. They will assist the Principal Investigator and co-curator in the organisation of the exhibition, including helping with loan agreements and supporting the management of an artist commission, and contribute to the underpinning research. They will also assist with organising the accompanying public events programme. The role requires the ability to liaise between different project team members and audiences. Experience of delivering exhibitions is desirable.
The position is fixed term at 0.2 FTE for one year.
