About the Role
MoMA seeks a Research Programs and MRC Manager to oversee activities for the MRC fellowship, All Fellows curriculum, and Scholars in Residence programs. This role involves managing logistics, coordinating with MoMA departments, and facilitating partnerships with art history programs across New York’s top universities. Responsibilities include organizing MRC Study Sessions, the Marron Lecture Series, and the All Fellows program, alongside operational tasks like budget management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Fellowship Program Management: Oversee MRC Fellows, coordinate with curatorial departments, plan professional development, and manage the onboarding and selection processes for fellows and scholars.
- Department Management: Collaborate on programs like Idea Lab, draft reports for stakeholders, manage the departmental budget, and organize meetings and travel planning for Research Programs.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in art history or related field with five years of relevant museum/gallery administration experience.
- Strong communication, program management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in budget management and strong Excel skills.
