Art Prospect Network Residencies for US Artists and Curators
Application deadline: February 15, 2021
Residencies will take place between July 1 and December 31, 2021
The Art Prospect Network Residencies offer a new transnational exchange opportunity for US artists and curators, focusing on exchange and collaboration in the field of socially engaged art and/or public art. CEC ArtsLink will place US artists and curators with host organizations in the eleven Art Prospect Network countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan), which share common strategies, concerns, and goals. Each Art Prospect Network partner will host an artist or curator for a one month residency to participate in a collaborative project, such as a public art festival or event, lead training programs, and/or conduct an independent project. US participants and host organizations will work together to define the residency goals and structure based on their reciprocal interests, needs and strengths.
The Art Prospect Network Residencies are supported by the Kettering Family Philanthropies and the Trust for Mutual Understanding.
