Delfina Foundation, with support from the British Council and Ukrainian Institute, invites applications from artists, curators, and artist-curators based in Ukraine for an eight-week residency in London from 20 July to 11 September 2026. The residency is part of a wider programme supporting artists affected by war and conflict, offering time, care, and connections within the UK cultural sector.
Residency Details
- Duration: 8 weeks (Summer 2026 ‘open’ season)
- Return economy-class flight and UK airport transfers
- Visa fee reimbursement (if required)
- Living allowance: £500/week
- Materials budget: £800
- Local travel pass
- Accommodation: single bedroom in shared house for up to 8 residents
- Structured programme: studio visits, talks, mentoring, portfolio reviews, collaborative exchange, guided visits to UK art institutions
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizen or long-term resident of Ukraine
- Able to demonstrate how residency will benefit practice and local networks
- Proficient in English
- Priority for those who have not previously participated in UK residencies
