Delfina Foundation, in partnership with Contemporary Bolivian Arts Trust and Fundación RSV, invites applications from Bolivian curators for a four-week residency in London, scheduled for 26 May to 22 June 2025. This residency is part of the ‘open’ spring 2025 season of Delfina Foundation’s residency programme.
Residency Activities
During the residency, curators will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in guided visits to museums, galleries, artist-run spaces, and studios.
- Engage with artists, curators, academics, and researchers through presentations and studio visits.
- Take part in professional development activities such as portfolio reviews and mentoring.
- Collaborate with other residents through informal gatherings and meals.
Travel and Living Support
The residency package includes:
- A return economy-class flight.
- Airport transfers in the UK.
- Reimbursement of visa fees (if required).
- A living allowance of £35 per day.
- A materials budget of £400.
- A travel pass for London’s public transport network.
- Accommodation in a shared house with facilities like bathrooms, a kitchen, and library.
Note: Travel insurance is not provided and must be arranged by the selected resident.
Applicant Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a Bolivian national, based in and working in Bolivia.
- Have at least five years of curatorial experience.
- Be able to explain how the residency will benefit their career.
- Demonstrate how the residency will contribute to the cultural development of Bolivia.
- Be proficient in English.
