Applications are open to national and international writers, curators, and artistic researchers interested in pursuing research, curatorial and critical writing opportunities related to the region of Stavanger, Norway.
National and international writers, curators, and artistic researchers are eligible to apply. Applications are open to individuals interested in pursuing research, curatorial and critical writing opportunities related to the region of Stavanger, Norway.
The Residency in Art Writing is a self-driven program organized by Contemporary Art Stavanger (CAS), and offers individuals a unique opportunity to delve into independent research, writing, and criticism based around Stavanger and the surrounding region. Research can be broadly focused on surveying the regional art scene, or targeted towards a specific area of interest. It is the goal of the residency to create and strengthen networks between national/international writers and local practitioners while advancing regional criticism and research.
