About the Role
This research traineeship (Volontariat) provides hands-on experience in all areas of museum operations, including collection management, exhibition planning, research, and public engagement. The focus is on art education (Kunstvermittlung), with responsibilities such as:

Assisting in the development and organization of educational programs for various audiences (children, youth, adults, families, and schools).

Creating new formats and partnerships with institutions and artists.

Writing educational texts for different target audiences.

Supporting the organization of guided tours, workshops, and special events (e.g., family days).

Participating in the management of hack-museumsgARTen, the museum’s community garden project.
Qualifications & Requirements

Master’s degree in art history, art education, or a related field.

Experience in museum education or media education, particularly with youth and intercultural projects.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with a creative and team-oriented mindset.

Fluent German and English (spoken and written).
