Galleria Raffaella Cortese is looking for a motivated Senior Artist Liaison with a strong background in sales. This full-time role is based in Milan, Italy. The gallery requires someone with 5-7 years of experience in the contemporary art sector, preferably in a commercial gallery setting. The role involves managing relationships with artists and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with select artists to prepare for exhibitions, art fairs, special projects, and more. Build personal relationships with artists and their studios.
- Develop connections with curators, museums, and other galleries to facilitate acquisitions and exhibitions.
- Engage with collectors throughout the sales process with a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
- Experience with FileMaker or similar databases is essential.
- Must be proficient in macOS, Microsoft Office, and ideally Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Fluent in both English and Italian.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of contemporary art.
Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
