Responsible to: Head of Programming
Responsible for: Freelance Producers
Team: BAC’s Programming Team
Focus: Lead BAC’s Creative Development Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Deliver Projects: Lead BAC’s Creative Development project, manage commissioning and co-producing networks, and build partnerships with UK and international partners.
- Support Commissioned Artists: Develop their ideas and practice, and provide pastoral and professional support.
- Plan and Deliver Programmes: Oversee commissions and productions, including New Dimensions and Breakthrough commissions.
- Artists Development: Manage Scene Change International Exchange and Creative Labs programmes.
- Making Space: Allocate in-kind use of BAC’s rehearsal rooms for artist residencies.
- Ensure Inclusivity: Uphold BAC’s ambitions for radical inclusion, ensuring accessibility and diverse leadership in programs.

Terms & Conditions
- Salary: £37,000 gross per annum
- Hours: 35 hours per week (excluding a daily one-hour lunch break), Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm. Flexible working possible. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
- Overtime: No overtime payments; Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) system.
- Annual Leave: 4 weeks per year, pro rata (5 weeks after one full year of service)
- Probation Period: 6 months, with a 3-month review
- Notice Period: 3 months
- Contract Period: Permanent
- Pension Scheme: Provided by NEST
