About the role:
To manage the development and delivery of a number of the Museum’s portfolio of international touring exhibitions to overseas hosts.
The post-holder may be required to project manage the delivery of other of the Museum’s international advisory and/or training services (to the standards outlined below in relation to exhibition projects).
The post-holder may be required to undertake activities related to the marketing of the Museum’s portfolio of international touring exhibitions or other international projects, if required.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Manage the development of a number of the Museum’s international touring exhibitions.
- Manage the work of the International Touring Exhibitions Project Management team.
- Provide strategic support for the Programme Manager: International Touring Exhibitions in the creation and development of the exhibition forward plan.
- Represent the Museum in discussions with existing and potential hosts about the content of exhibitions and/or the way in which exhibitions are delivered by the Museum.
- Take responsibility for certain exhibition projects and be the International Touring Exhibitions team’s internal expert for those exhibitions.
