Akademie Schloss Solitude invites young artists, scientists, and cultural professionals to apply for its residential fellowships.
Fellowship Details
- Open to artists and scientists
- Residential fellowships for 6, 9, or 12 months
- Obligation to spend at least two-thirds of the fellowship at the Akademie
- Permanent residence in Stuttgart required
Application Rounds
- Held every two years
- Maximum of 65 fellows awarded by the jury
- 42 live/work studios and 3 guest studios available
Eligibility Criteria
- Knowledge of German and/or English and/or French
- Spheres of practice include Visual, Aural & Physical, Digital, Spatial, Textual, Societal/Communal-based Work, and Scientific.
Fellowship Benefits
- Free, furnished living/working studio with utilities
- Monthly fellowship grant of 1,200 EUR
- Travel expenses covered for arrival and departure
- Additional benefits available, adjustable based on the budget
