Studio MAST is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Amsterdam specialising in experience design across exhibitions, interiors, spatial storytelling and immersive brand environments.
The studio works across cultural and commercial contexts, combining concept-driven storytelling with strong attention to craftsmanship, materiality and environmental responsibility.
About the Role
The Mid-Level Spatial Designer will contribute to the development of exhibition design, interiors and immersive environments, translating conceptual ideas into spatial solutions, 3D visualisations and technical drawings.
The role spans all project phases, from early concept development through to production and construction, including coordination with engineers, fabricators and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop spatial concepts for exhibitions, interiors and experiential environments
- Create 3D visualisations and technical drawings
- Contribute to projects from concept through to realisation
- Support engineering and construction coordination
- Produce detailed design sets in 2D
- Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Work on material research, detailing and spatial construction logic
- Ensure design quality across all project stages
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in exhibition design or interior architecture
- Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or Exhibition Design
- Strong experience with spatial storytelling and conceptual design
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (2D/3D), SketchUp and Enscape
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Rhino or Fusion experience is a plus
- Strong 3D visualisation and technical drawing skills
- Understanding of materials and construction processes
- Collaborative and proactive working approach
- Based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam
- Excellent English (Dutch is an advantage)
