Topic
The VARES Summer School in August 2024 will explore spatial activism. This includes theoretical perspectives on spatial activism, its various forms, and practical discussions on community empowerment and the impact of bureaucratic systems on such efforts. The program will also address activism for non-human entities, exploring more-than-human agency and multispecies assemblages. Activities include space-making initiatives and participatory performative acts.
