The Black Curatorial Institute at the Black Artists Archive

Introducing the Black Curatorial Institute at the Black Artists Archive

The Black Curatorial Institute (BCI), a new learning center advancing the curatorial experience, creates a new professional development opportunity for arts professionals unlike any that are currently available in the sector. Combining the strengths of the Teachable online platform, along with Dr. Kelli Morgan’s vision for the institute, BAA is poised to train both the current and the next generation of arts leaders, who have been historically underrepresented and under-resourced.

As the social expectations of art museums change, Black Curatorial Institute equips arts professionals and enthusiasts alike with the skills to recognize and challenge systemic biases while building inclusive, equitable environments in the art world.
