CATALYST GRANT 2022 – TEOR/ÉTICA
WITH THE SUPPORT OF ARTS COLLABORATORY
Important dates
Deadline: 30/10/2022
Public announcement of results: November 25, 2022
Online public event: date to be defined in 2023
Location: Central America and the Caribbean archipelago
VALUE OF THE GRANT: USD $3,000 for each selected organization and/or group.
Since 2014, the Catalyst Grant has been an important part of the TEOR/éTica grant and support program, which aims to promote art organizations and groups that are playing an important role in transforming the cultural landscape of the Central American and Caribbean region, both locally and internationally. Contributing to the sustainability of smaller-scale, non-formal or non-institutionalized initiatives is a way of building an artistic ecology capable of responding to needs in a faster, more coherent and experimental way.
Our desire is to be able to recognize and contribute to artistic and cultural initiatives that have been operating in contexts with economic, social and political difficulties, as well as to point out the importance of these projects continuing to bet on building community and activating ways of critically thinking about the present from art. .
This year, thanks to the generous support of the Arts Collaboratory network, we will be awarding four grants of US $3,000 (three thousand U.S. dollars) to the organizations or groups that are selected through this open call. The grant money can be used to continue the work that these organizations or groups have been doing, expand their scope, implement new dynamics, among others.
