Overview

London Gallery Weekend Travel Bursaries offer financial assistance for curators from regional museums in the UK. These bursaries cover costs for attending the London Gallery Weekend, happening from 31 May to 2 June 2024.

Funding Details

What the Bursary Covers:

• Accommodation at a Central London hotel, arranged by the event organizers.
• Travel expenses to and from London, including a travel card for local transport.

Exclusions:

• Daily allowances, meals, drinks.
• Transport to/from train stations and airports.

Eligibility

Curators from UK-based public museums, galleries, historic houses, libraries, and archives outside London can apply. Eligible institutions must:

• Be open to the public for at least half the week for six months annually.
• Have full or provisional accreditation through relevant Arts Council schemes.
• Aim to increase public access to their collections in line with Art Fund’s objectives.

Application Process

Deadlines:

Submit applications by midnight, Sunday 24 March 2024.
