Fellowship Details
eikones invites applications from outstanding researchers in humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences for two one-year NOMIS Fellowships. Since 2005, eikones has focused on the interdisciplinary study of images and their role in human knowledge and cultural practices.
Position:
The fellowship supports research on how images function as models or paradigms in scientific and aesthetic contexts. Fellows will receive a salary, travel funds, conference funds, and access to academic infrastructure.

- Published monograph or three journal articles
- Research related to images as models
- Applications in German or English
