Victoria and Albert Museum seek an Exhibitions Co-ordinator

Exhibitions Co-ordinator x2 (1 Permanent contract & 1 Fixed Term contract)

The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art and design. We enrich people’s lives by promoting the practice of design and increasing knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the designed world.

The V&A has an extensive programme of exhibitions which take place at South Kensington and tour widely in the UK and abroad. This is an exciting opportunity to manage projects within the lively Exhibitions Department. You will be responsible for the delivery of exhibitions either on site or touring, coordinating multiple projects at any one time. You will manage internal and external project teams, liaising with many key stakeholders, including international and UK venues, fine art agents and exhibition designers.

You will have excellent project management, administrative and communication skills, have a museum or gallery background, and be able to process information efficiently, making considered and timely recommendations in challenging situations.

Interviews are likely to be held on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 March 2013 (please note this is before the Easter holidays)
