Program Description
Verein K announces the residency program Visiting Curators Vienna 2024. Four international mid-career curators will be selected based on their work quality and the relevance of their exhibition projects. The program provides a ten-day residency in Vienna, where curators will meet artists and representatives of the contemporary art scene. Travel and accommodation costs are covered.
Eligibility Criteria
Curators must:
- Have curated exhibitions in museums or other art institutions.
- Plan to realize an exhibition in the next two years outside Austria, featuring one or more Austrian artists.
Application Requirements
Submit one PDF including:
- CV
- Portfolio of relevant work
- Proposal for one or more exhibitions including Austrian artists
- Answers to the following:
- What exhibitions have you curated before?
- What media are you interested in (e.g., painting, new media)?
- Description of future exhibition plans.
- Representatives of the Viennese contemporary art scene you wish to meet.
- Interest in meeting other curators for potential collaboration.

Selection Criteria
