Taidetila Muijala & The Temporary Bookshelf, Reila (Finland)
Taidetila Muijala and The Temporary Bookshelf present their first open call for Winter Writing Residencies from December 2024 to February 2025. The residencies are designed for artists, writers, and cultural professionals from all disciplines and backgrounds to develop text-based projects in a serene winter environment. Up to 3-4 writers will be hosted at a time, with weekly peer-reading sessions to encourage feedback and collaborative discussions.
Residency Details
- Duration: 3 weeks to 3 months between December 2024 and February 2025
- Cost: Sliding scale residency fee between €450 – €750 per month, per person
- Accommodation: Private bedroom in a shared accommodation with access to common spaces, plus a dedicated workspace in the writers’ studio. Writers can also enjoy the surrounding nature, sea sauna, and forest trails.
